Jetzt riecht es auch nach Oscar!
Nach ihrer Nominierung für den Golden Globe Award als "Beste Nebendarstellerin" in "News of the World" ist Helena Zengel gestern auch von der Schauspielergewerkschaft Screen Actors Guild für deren 27. Screen Actors Guild Awards genannt worden. Die zwölf Jahre alte Berlinerin konkurriert um den Schauspielerpreis mit Maria Bakalowa, Glenn Close, Olivia Colman und Yuh-Jung Youn.
Gleich zwei Nominierungen gehen posthum an den im August verstorbenen Chadwick Boseman als Hauptdarsteller in "Ma Rainey's Black Bottom" und als Nebendarsteller in "Da 5 Bloods".
Ab dem 16. Februar und bis zum 30. März haben nun die rund 160 000 SAG-Mitglieder die Wahl. Die Preise sollen dann am 4. April verliehen werden.
